Carmen González, the 85-year-old woman who went missing in the municipality of Pollença, was found safe and sound this Friday. According to Police Councilor María José Jiménez, speaking on Ràdio Pollença, the woman is unharmed but very disoriented. Finding it impossible to return home, she sought refuge in an abandoned house. The alert regarding her disappearance was issued on Thursday by her family, who also appealed for help through social media. According to a neighbor who shared the information online, González is a "short and slim woman, and in very good shape." She was wearing a dark Slam brand jacket, black sweatpants, and pink sneakers. "She usually frequents the area around the Roman Bridge, Ternelles, the Font orchard, and the old Cala road, but Calvario and other areas cannot be ruled out," the neighbor explained. The elderly woman went for a walk around 4 p.m. along the Ternelles path, and when she hadn't returned by 9 p.m., her daughter alerted the emergency services, explained the Mallorca Fire Department.
