Simebal highlighted the "massive" participation of Resident Physicians (MIRs) in strategic hospital services, such as anesthesiology, with "very high" figures, such as the 95 percent participation rate at Son Espases University Hospital. The minimum services will be in place to guarantee the continuity of treatments and scheduled activity. In centers with multiple shifts, the strike will begin with the first shift on the 9th and end when the last shift finishes on Friday, even if this extends beyond 23:59.

Staff at Palma's Citizen Service Offices (OAC) and the 010 Telephone Information Service went on strike this Monday after negotiations with the City Council, which had been ongoing for over a year, broke down. The workers are demanding improvements in both service quality and working conditions.
