The 2024-2025 academic year was the first in which secondary schools had access to a health psychologist, "a pioneering measure across Spain that has brought about a structural change in the emotional support of students," notes Educació. In total, 76 professionals were employed this year. The psychologists worked in secondary schools (IES), integrated vocational training centers (CIFP), special education centers (CEE), and publicly funded charter schools (CC). In total, 5,700 people—including students, teachers, and families—were served through individual and group interventions tailored to the needs of each educational community.
