The driver of the tractor that caused the death of a 29-year-old motorcyclist on July 12 on the road between Campos and Santanyí was driving under the influence of drugs and without adequate lighting to drive at night.

A woman died Saturday night as a result of a traffic accident on the Ma-19 highway, between the towns of Campos and Llucmajor. According to SAMU 061, the call came in at 8:39 p.m., following a collision between a van and a motorcycle at kilometer 13 of the road. One person was seriously injured in the accident. Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, one Advanced Life Support (ALS) and one Basic Life Support (BLS). Upon arrival, paramedics confirmed the woman's death; she had sustained injuries incompatible with life. The cause of the accident has not yet been released.

The 52-year-old Mallorcan singer Jaume Anglada was seriously injured in a traffic accident early Friday morning. According to a statement issued by 061, the artist was riding his motorcycle along Joan Miró Street in Palma when he was hit by a car. The driver of the vehicle fled, leaving Anglada seriously injured on the road.

The Civil Guard is investigating the driver of the tractor involved in the accident that occurred this Saturday at 2:20 a.m. in Campos, in which a 29-year-old motorcyclist died, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of failure to render assistance.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was taken in serious condition to the Son Espases intensive care unit after being involved in a traffic accident with another vehicle at the exit of the Génova tunnel towards Andratx.
