MÉS per Mallorca rejects the forecasts of the new Airport Regulation Document (DORA), which plans to increase the number of passengers at the three main airports of the Balearic Islands to nearly 50 million annually by 2031. The eco-sovereigntist deputy in Congress, Vicenç Vidal, believes that the Islands can no longer sustain more airport growth and questions whether the 1.03 billion euros of planned investment should be used to expand the facilities' capacity.

The Platform Against Airport Expansion warns that expanding airports in the Balearic Islands could worsen the housing crisis and the over-tourism of the archipelago. In a statement, the organizations that make up the platform—including the GOB (Balearic Ornithological Group)—express "serious social concern" about the direction of Aena's airport policy, which—they claim—has the approval of both the Spanish government and the Balearic government. The activists recall that the Dora II Plan (2019-2025) already expanded the facilities, with more walkways, the widening of Terminals A and D in Palma, and increased parking capacity. But they warn that the future Dora III Plan (2027-2031) "is a ticking time bomb": it plans to allocate 600 million euros to Palma within a total package of 13 billion euros across Spain.

Llabrés stressed the context in which the intervention took place: the product's target audience was visitors who want to take home a gastronomic souvenir of the island. "Tourists trust that what they buy is truly representative of Mallorca," he underlined. The action falls within the inspection and control tasks carried out by the Directorate General for Agri-food Quality and Local Products, which is responsible for safeguarding protected names, native breeds, and the origin of agri-food products marketed in the Balearic Islands. The Government reiterated its commitment to defending local products, transparency in marketing, and guaranteeing truthful information for consumers. He assured that he will continue to take action against any misuse of names linked to the Islands.
