Airbnb has removed the listing for the tourist apartment rented by the PSIB (Socialist Party of the Balearic Islands) from its website to highlight the existence of illegal rentals in Palma. The Tourism Department of the Consell de Mallorca (Island Council of Mallorca) reportedly requested the removal of the listing after a press conference held this Monday at the property by the Secretary General of the PSIB in Palma, Iago Negueruela.

Vox is currently the PP's concern regarding the potential rezoning of rural land for housing development in Palma. A series of factors have sparked tension for weeks, primarily due to the clear and opposing stance of the far-right party's spokesperson in Palma, Fulgencio Coll, who firmly stated that rural land cannot be developed unless all developable and urban land has been consumed. Vox Palma issued a specific press release in which it stated that it was considering "voting against any construction project on rural land unless all consolidated urban land has been exhausted."

The Balearic Islands Public Radio and Television (IB3) denounced the PSOE's veto of its correspondent in Madrid for covering the party's federal committee and warned that it will not accept "political interference." In a statement, the public broadcaster stated that "despite having processed the accreditation within the deadline and in a timely manner, the political party has denied access and the right to report to the IB3 team."
