After the president, Marga Prohens, announced new tax cuts to facilitate young people's access to housing, the socialist deemed these announcements insufficient and accused her of "wasting three and a half years for society". "She removes taxes for young people, but how much does a house cost? 400,000 euros", he criticized. "How much does a young person earn in these Islands? They cannot pay for a house, live in an apartment, or rent a room", he continued: "This is your track record".

The President of the Government, Marga Prohens, defended herself this Tuesday in the plenary session against accusations from the leader of MÉS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, and the leader of Unides Podem, José María García, of favoring "speculation" in housing. The eco-sovereigntist demanded that the purchase of homes by legal entities—investment funds, commercial companies, and businesses—be prohibited and that tools be given to stressed municipalities to establish that purchased homes must be linked to being a habitual residence for a certain period. However, the president accused him of defending "expropriation".

The councilwoman for Podem at the Palma City Council, Lucía Muñoz, will run in the party's primaries to head the candidacy for Cort in the 2027 municipal elections. Muñoz announced her decision this Tuesday through a video in which she asserts the need to build a political majority to tackle tourist overcrowding and guarantee access to housing.

The municipal groups PSIB-PSOE, MÁS por Palma, and Unidas Podemos disagree with the budget processing schedule proposed by the governing team, which leaves insufficient time to review the accounts before the councilors' appearances begin. For this reason, they have submitted a proposal to modify the schedule of appearances to guarantee the opposition groups' ability to oversee the government.

President Marga Prohens consolidated her toughened anti-immigration rhetoric in her second general policy debate. In the first session of the debate, this Tuesday, the Prime Minister once again sought to compete with Vox on the right and reinforced her criticism of newcomers, especially those arriving illegally. In this regard, she announced that she will raise the minimum residence time on the islands to three years to access various benefits. "We cannot contribute in any way to a pull effect on a migratory route that is growing exponentially," she said.

In the final stretch of the parliamentary term, the People's Party (PP) and Vox have pushed through the Land Acquisition Law, which will allow for the construction of thousands of homes on developable land and the rezoning of rural land. It also paves the way for a planning amnesty in protected areas of the Serra de Tramuntana. The law was passed despite complaints from the left, which accused the sponsoring groups of violating parliamentary rules. The reason is that a new article was added at the time of the vote, when the text that usually reaches the plenary session is the opinion issued by the parliamentary committee. The left-wing groups have announced that they will take the law to the Constitutional Court (CC).
