The National Police have arrested three people in Ciutadella de Menorca —including a father and son— accused of violently assaulting a man, shooting him in the face with a pellet gun, and threatening him with potentially dangerous breed dogs. As reported by the Superior Headquarters of the Police of the Balearic Islands, the events occurred in the early hours of Sunday to Monday, when several patrols from the Citizen Assistance Group were alerted to an assault outside a leisure venue in the municipality.

The National Police have arrested eight people in Palma accused of being part of a scheme dedicated to illegally registering foreign citizens. The investigation has identified at least 70 people who allegedly benefited from this fraudulent system.

The third person arrested was a man with a restraining order against his partner, with whom he was inside a bar.

The Civil Guard and the National Police have dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking and money laundering in a six-phase operation in which agents arrested 76 people and seized 1.5 million euros, 2,500 kilos of hashish, 687 kilos and 687 kilos of hashish.
