A judicial commission on Thursday executed the eviction of a mother and her minor son who were living in one of the substandard apartments on Joan Miró Street in Palma. These apartments are owned by a local police officer who was sanctioned by the government for renting them out.

The judicial delegation has halted two evictions scheduled for this Thursday affecting a woman and a family living in the storage rooms on Avenida Joan Miró, owned by the Palma local police officer fined by the regional government for renting these substandard apartments.

The judicial commission has suspended an eviction scheduled for Tuesday morning for two families with a five-year-old child and a two-month-old baby living in a home in Rafal, Palma. According to Stop Evictions, the eviction has been suspended, although the reason is unknown and no new date has yet been announced. The eviction involves two families with children and a woman who is eight months pregnant.
