Manacor will demand the declaration of special capital status for the city and the Levante region, with the aim of ensuring fair financing and recognizing its role as the territorial capital and socioeconomic driver of the area. This model is similar to that of Palma and Ibiza, protected by Law 20/2006, which already includes special regimes for municipalities with supra-municipal functions.
