The far-right left the Mallorca Council plenary session during the minute of silence for Palestine proposed by PSIB councilor Silvia Alonso during her control question. It should be recalled that Vox rejected the Socialist group's proposal to hold a minute of silence "in memory of the victims of the genocide being committed in Gaza by Israel," as explained by the PSIB in a statement.

The Mallorcan Council repeatedly fined the company Malla Publicidad for placing billboards in areas where the Highway Law did not permit them, according to sources from the PSIB (Spanish Association of Public Administrations) told ARA Baleares. However, when the Administrative Simplification Law was amended, the meaning of the concept of "crossing" contemplated in the regulations was also changed, the same sources point out. Article 36 of the Highway Law established that billboards could not be installed alongside roads and could only be placed in urban crossroads, and only on urban land. Furthermore, the installation of such billboards on rural land was completely prohibited.

The Socialist Workers' Party (PSIB) proposed creating an island land pool in Mallorca so that municipalities can build social housing (VPO) and also proposed lowering the limit of 400,000 tourist accommodation spaces and implementing low-emission zones (LEZs) in the island's large municipalities. These are some of the 237 resolution proposals the Socialists have presented for debate at the July plenary session of the island institution to reverse "two years of inaction by the PP and Vox."

Jaume Alzamora, the current spokesperson for MÁS por Mallorca in the Consell (Mallorca Council), officially resigned from all institutional and organizational positions he held within the party this Thursday, thus ending a 15-year political career.
