A video shows a group of people giving beer to goats in Cala Figuera, Mallorca, and then leaving the cans on the ground. The images, initially disseminated by the Instagram account Mallorca Viral, have caused numerous criticisms on social networks and have prompted public denunciation by the Foundation for Advice and Action in Defense of Animals (FAADA).

More than half a ton of debris has been removed from the seabed of Cala Figuera as part of the Virgen del Carmen Festival. The Santanyí City Council announced that this Saturday the port of Cala Figuera hosted a new edition of the annual cleanup of the seabed and coastline held in conjunction with the Virgen del Carmen Festival.
