One of the artists from the Mention Art Workshop raises her hand and asks to be shown one of the images for a closer look. It is a work that combines the collage With thick, spontaneous lines, characteristic of Bloch, the resulting image is a potato, with drawn horns and wings, eating a magazine logo. Then, at the workshop leader's request, Mònica focuses on a ceramic plate that winks at the viewer.

"I don't know." It's a simple sentence, but these three words can hide a world in certain circumstances. Recognizing that something is unknown is to confront our limitations. And here two options open up. This "I don't know" can push us to want to learn, to minimize our many ignorances. Millions of people who have said "I don't know" at some point have dedicated their lives to trying to learn, aware that they will never grasp more than a tiny portion of the universe of knowledge available to human beings. But many others have chosen to cheat, to sweep their ignorance under the rug and pretend they know far more than others, always aided by a certain dose of arrogance and arrogance to give solidity to the appearance.

A collective desire to continue the great work of the Balearic JournalWe launched it, and against more than one prediction, it's not only afloat, but growing, increasing its impact, number of followers, and subscribers every year, at a difficult time for journalism.

Next week, in this space I've occupied for the past three years, Jaume Perelló will be there to lead ARA Baleares and, with him at the helm, we can all do better. I'm stepping down as editor, but I'm not leaving. I'll continue to be part of ARA Baleares, with the responsibility of managing the weekly. This print edition provides something essential and complementary to the immediate news we encounter every day in the digital world: a more measured perspective, context, analysis, and also foresight. This weekly was born from taking some time to better understand what's happening to us and to give voice to perspectives that help us collectively think about the future of the Balearic Islands and the world.

Both are part of the group of journalists who, with the daily ARA de Catalunya and a good number of members from the Islands, launched the newspaper in 2013, when it became the first digital newspaper in Catalan in the Balearic Islands with a clear commitment to quality and analysis. Ros has been director in two different stages (from 2014 to 2016, and from 2022 to the present), while Perelló was the first deputy director.
