ARA Balears has actively participated in l'Acampallengua 2026. ARA Baleares has opened a new account on X (formerly Twitter) after permanently losing its previous profile due to a cybersecurity incident that required the platform's intervention and, ultimately, the account's deletion. Despite exhausting all possible efforts with the company, it has not been possible to recover the profile. Given this situation, and with the aim of continuing to provide regular news coverage and maintain contact with the online community, the newspaper has launched a new account on X: @diariARABalears.

ARA Baleares opens a new era with the appointment of Jaume Perelló (Palma, 1970) as director, replacing Cristina Ros, who will remain at the helm of the weekly newspaper, the print edition. Both are part of the group of journalists who, with the daily ARA de Catalunya and a good number of members from the Islands, launched the newspaper in 2013, when it became the first digital newspaper in Catalan in the Balearic Islands with a clear commitment to quality and analysis. Ros has been director in two different stages (from 2014 to 2016, and from 2022 to the present), while Perelló was the first deputy director.
