"Sóller had a train that was the envy of Mallorca," was how MÁS por Sóller recalled this Friday in a statement in which it lamented that more than twenty years ago the people of Sóller lost a train that served as a means of transport to the city and that now provides no service to residents.

A carriage on the Sóller train derailed at noon this Wednesday. The train was heading to Palma when it derailed near the Pujol d'en Banya viewpoint. No injuries were reported, according to Europa Press.
