A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured Friday afternoon after being hit by a TIB bus in Plaça d'Espanya in Palma. According to police sources, the incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. when the cyclist crossed a pedestrian crossing against a red light and without a helmet. The Spanish Congress of Deputies definitively approved the Sustainable Mobility Law this Thursday, which includes a key amendment for the Balearic Islands: free public transport starting in 2026.
