The activists recall that the Dora II Plan (2019-2025) already expanded the facilities, with more walkways, the widening of Terminals A and D in Palma, and increased parking capacity. But they warn that the future Dora III Plan (2027-2031) "is a ticking time bomb": it plans to allocate 600 million euros to Palma within a total package of 13 billion euros across Spain. </p>]]></description>

"The most expensive mansion in Mallorca," as several European media outlets have called it recently, is returning to the real estate market for 87 million euros (approximately 100 million dollars). It's worth remembering that the estate still belongs to German industrialist Peter Eisenmann, who bought it for just over 13 million euros in 2001 from the Bonnín-Armstrong family. After renovations, the planting of vineyards, and the creation of his own winery (which he had to build off-site, initially attempting to locate it in the Manacor industrial park without success), and controversies surrounding the closure of several public roads crossing the estate and passing in front of the houses, financial difficulties led to his sale. <strong>Downward</strong><h3/><p>In 2020, Eisenmann put Es Fangar up for sale for €100 million, at €100,000 per hectare. This estate, dedicated to organic farming with wine production, breeding purebred horses, and organizing equestrian championships, occupies more than 0.27% of the island's surface area, covering over 1,000 hectares. The former president of the Eisenmann SE group, dedicated to the engineering industry, went bankrupt after rejecting acquisition offers from a Chinese group. The estate also has a helipad. Finally, in 2019, a winery was inaugurated in Felanitx, with an investment of €8 million, to market the organic wine produced from his vineyards. A 7,500 square meter space, 48 tanks with a capacity of 12,000 liters of red wine and a 20,000-liter tank for blending, as well as oak barrels, mostly French.</p>]]></description>

At that time, she was helping out at Can Gazà. She experienced the ravages of heroin, "a real scourge," and 14 years ago joined the Platform for People Affected by Mortgages in Mallorca (PAH), a free association that helps people struggling to pay their mortgages, rent, or facing eviction. Like many others, she selflessly dedicates her free time to defending the right to housing. "We're cooks, and I don't have any education. I had to work hard," she says, referring to skills she learned on the job, forced by the crisis generated by the real estate bubble and the rise in the Euribor, which left thousands of families homeless. "It seemed very unfair to me that, after years of paying the bank, they wouldn't give people a chance when the wealthiest people were getting their loans refinanced," she recalls of her early days. The worsening of the problem, which has become transversal and now extends to rentals, has led the association to expand its services. "Housing has become a inflated stock market product with which companies [investment funds and vultures] make a lot of money. Governments allow them to use housing for speculation instead of stopping the monsters and creating housing. In two years, they evicted 250,000 families," he criticizes.</p>]]></description>

Tourists love taking photos on this street. It's narrow, sterile, impersonal, but quite picturesque by Instagram standards. Sometimes I go out and walk around just to hear the comments of those who stop by the real estate agency, presented with all the clichés of Nordic luxury: standardizing white, light-colored designer furniture, Mac computers (Apple grants status), and ads on tablets. Everything digital, everything modern, everything neutral to the point of nausea. Art galleries don't garner nearly as much interest as the real estate agency. Both luxury homes and contemporary art are reserved for the wealthy, but everyone aspires to the former, and the latter only interests those who appreciate it, those who pretend to appreciate it, or those (to close the circle) who want to decorate their luxury homes.</p>]]></description>

This new, subsidized service will provide housing and specialized support to 50 people with mental disorders. The goal is to guarantee this group access to a basic right and promote their autonomy and integration in all areas of society, with the help of professionals. This is all thanks to the agreement with the Ministry of Families, Social Welfare, and Dependency Care.</p>]]></description>
