An agricultural fire declared this Saturday midday in the Son Frare area, in the municipality of Inca, has led to the mobilization of four forest firefighters, two environmental agents, and an aerial unit to tackle the flames. According to the Balearic Institute of Nature (Ibanat), the personnel have been working on extinguishing tasks since the fire was detected.

The residents of seven homes near the fire that broke out this Thursday in Manacor spent the night in their homes after being able to return last night. No homes were affected by the blaze, which burned more than three hectares.

The fire that burned a farm in Ferreries, Menorca, is under control. According to a tweet from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Environment on social media, work is currently underway to extinguish the fire.
