MÉS per Palma has accused the City Council of "imposing a gag" on residents after the removal of a campaign against noise that several associations had placed in some neighborhoods of the city.

Palma's new promenade will open on November 15th and 16th with the first charity run by the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB). It will be a weekend of sporting and family fun with free activities, with all proceeds going to Projecte Home Balears.

The final paving and installation of horizontal signage on Palma's Paseo Marítim, as part of the ongoing renovation, will entail traffic restrictions from this Sunday until Wednesday. The impacts, according to Europa Press, will be particularly severe at night.
