The Educational Inspection of the Ministry of Education and Universities will open an investigation at the Pere de Son Gall Integrated Vocational Training Center in Llucmajor for an alleged case of workplace harassment. Sources from the department have explained to Europa Press that the area plans to undertake a psychosocial evaluation of the center following a report on occupational risks. The same sources have explained that the usual protocols have been activated to clarify the circumstances that have motivated some complaints. The evaluation will take place after several complaints and a report linking a teacher's pathological condition to the work environment.

The municipal secretary of Petra, Francisco González, has filed a complaint against the town's mayor, Salvador Femenias, for alleged workplace harassment. The secretary, who has been on sick leave since June, filed the complaint with the Civil Guard in Manacor, who have opened a preliminary investigation. The First Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands has ordered the reopening of the legal case against the former mayor of Capdepera, Rafael Fernández Mallol, and a former chief of the town's local police force for alleged crimes of workplace harassment and administrative misconduct. The court also upheld the dismissal of the case against the other individuals under investigation. The proceedings began following a complaint filed by a Capdepera local police officer, who reported to the court a series of actions that, in his opinion, constituted coercion, degrading treatment, workplace harassment, and arbitrary administrative decisions by municipal officials and police commanders. The events allegedly occurred after the officer applied for a permanent civil service position.

The General Court of the European Union on Wednesday rejected the appeal filed by José Ramón Bauzá against the reprimand imposed on him by the European Parliament for harassing a member of his team when he held a seat as a Citizens (Cs) MEP in the previous European legislature. The case dates back to 2022, when a parliamentary assistant to Bauzá reported his superior for psychological harassment to the relevant committee in Parliament, and an investigation was launched that concluded in February 2024, with the announcement by the institution's president, Roberta Metsola, that the harassment of the complainant had been proven.
