These days, while Llucmajor is celebrating the Santa Cándida festival, the town's 2004 Quintos (Quints) weren't content with insulting their town; they traveled to the neighboring town of Algaida to cause damage, leave debris, and hang banners and other writing.

The mayor of Algaida, Margalida Fullana, begins the greeting of the program of the Santiago Festivals by appealing to the citizens: "Stop for a moment... that in front of you is a written hug. These lines are not just words - they are for you, who love this town..." she says before beginning the more formal part.
