      <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://static1.ara.cat/clip/ea2499b2-34fb-4483-b31a-b519e8456c78_16-9-aspect-ratio_default_0.jpg" /></p><p>The Mallorcan historian Jaume Serra i Barceló died this Friday at the age of 74. Born in Palma in 1951, he was a historian, teacher, and musician. He earned his bachelor's and doctorate in History from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he carried out research focused on the social history and ethnohistory of Mallorca. He was a specialist in the Germania mallorquina and the flags of modern Mallorca, among other fields of study.</p>]]></description>
