Thirteen percent of the homes for sale in the Balearic Islands during the second quarter of this year were listed on the real estate portal Idealista for less than a week. According to the company in a statement reported by Europa Press, this percentage is two percentage points higher than that recorded during the same period in 2024. Nineteen percent of the listings were available for between one week and one month; 25%, between one and three months; 32%, between three months and one year; and only 11%, for more than a year.

Home sales in the Balearic Islands rose 1.2% in June compared to the same month last year (compared to a 17.9% increase nationwide), with a total of 1,092 transactions. This makes the islands the autonomous community with the lowest increase, more than 15 percentage points below the national average. Compared to the previous month, there is a decrease of 18.2%, according to data published Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
