Manacor doesn't want to give up being the effective (and financially rewarding) capital of the Levante region. Therefore, it has recruited the local People's Party, the key that could open the door to the municipality being able to finance itself with an additional €5 million per year, in exchange for satisfying the needs of Sant Llorenç, Son Servera, Capdepera, and Artà with the creation of a services association.
