The Balearic Islands have received 6,594,822 international tourists between January and June, 2.5% more than during the same period in 2025. The data from the Statistics of Tourist Movements at Borders (Frontur) and the Survey of Tourist Expenditure (Egatur), published this Monday by the National Statistics Institute (INE), confirm that the number of visitors continues to increase during the first half of the year.

The Balearic Islands recorded the presence of 1,816,629 people on May 30, which represents an increase of 1.27% compared to the previous year and breaks a new record for human pressure for the fifth month of the year, according to data published this Wednesday by the Balearic Institute of Statistics (Ibestat).
