I've read the draft agricultural bill from top to bottom, along with hundreds of comments. There's a consensus in both criticism and praise. What hasn't gone down well is Minister Joan Simonet's attempt to solve the agricultural sector's income problems by bringing in tourists. From hotel owners to some in the agricultural sector, everyone believes this isn't the way to promote agricultural production.

An illegal well that extracted 40,000 liters of water daily has been sealed at an agrotourism resort in Alaior.

The Civil Guard, as part of Operation Zahori, sealed off an illegal well located at a rural tourism site in the municipality of Alaior, which was discovered during a routine inspection. The operation was carried out last weekend in collaboration with inspectors from the Government's Department of Water Resources.
