The Mallorca Firefighters had to intervene in three rescue operations in the Serra de Tramuntana between Friday and Saturday, after five people —three adults and two children— were injured or got lost during excursions.

According to a later statement from the Civil Guard, at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, a patrol received a fire report and upon arrival found a man calling for help from a second-floor window, saying his wife was inside. Upon attempting to enter the apartment, the officers encountered a large accumulation of dense smoke that severely hampered visibility and breathing. After an initial attempt to control the fire with an official fire extinguisher proved insufficient, they managed to create an alternative entrance by breaking down one of the front doors.

A fire has destroyed a storage area located in the garage of a hotel in Cala Sant Vicenç. The fire, according to the Mallorca Fire Department, broke out around 5:30 p.m. and was extinguished just under an hour later. Firefighters from the Inca and Alcúdia stations, along with the on-duty technician, were dispatched to the scene to carry out the firefighting operations. Although the fire initially appeared to be quite extensive, it ultimately only affected a storage area where hotel staff kept maintenance equipment. Firefighters from the Alcúdia station will now carry out ventilation work. The Inca firefighters have already withdrawn.
