"Saturation," "social housing ghetto," and serious harm to the residents of El Molinar. These are some of the expressions the People's Party used 16 years ago against the same project. They are Bordoy which the municipal government is currently processing. Back in 2010, under the auspices of the well-known Carbonero Law (named after the Housing Minister in Francesc Antich's government), a strategic land reserve was being processed in Son Bordoy with the stated objective of facilitating affordable housing. On paper, the initiative aimed to address the difficulty of accessing housing in Palma. Civil society and the People's Party criticized this land rezoning for several reasons. The People's Party was particularly harsh and used arguments that were the exact opposite of those they are now defending.

The "Este tren no!" platform has estimated that at least 400 objections have been submitted to the planned extension of the train from Sa Pobla to Alcúdia. This figure, according to a report on social media this Monday, was recorded in the Sa Pobla Town Hall registry as of last Thursday. These objections must also be added to those submitted to other town halls and regional departments, both on paper and online.
