Public school teachers will be able to enjoy up to six personal days per year for the first time, known as 'moscosos'. The Regional Ministry of Education is processing a resolution that regulates leave for personal matters for tenured teaching staff, a right that already exists for other public employees, but which until now had not been specifically developed for this group. Temporary teachers will be able to enjoy the same leave if they fill a vacant or program position and start during the first two months of the school year. The Valencian Ministry of Education wants to move the 2026 teacher recruitment exams to May so that all vacancies are filled from the first day of the school year. The High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands (TSJIB) has dismissed the appeal filed by the CSIF union against the rules of a merit-based competition held by the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) to stabilize the use of four administrative positions.
