CEIP Verge de Lluc has had to suspend the end-of-year trip to the beach after, according to the school's complaint, the bus company Emilio y Joaquín López SL failed to fulfill the commitment made since March and assigned the vehicles to the tourism sector. The school assures that it already received notice of the possible cancellation two days prior, which was definitively confirmed this Wednesday.

The Llucmajor City Council has completed the partial demolition of the Urbanizaciones Primary School, a project carried out in compliance with a court ruling and costing €1.3 million. From that moment on, the Ministry of Education will assume leadership of the next stage, focusing on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the affected spaces, with the aim of restoring the school to normal operations as soon as possible, according to Efe.
