Mallorca Railway Services (SFM) will implement a review and update of train and metro timetables starting next Monday, November 17th, with the aim of adjusting them to current service conditions and improving punctuality, reliability, and overall quality of public rail transport. This measure, the result of a technical analysis by the Operations department with the participation of train drivers and operations inspectors, responds to the need to update timetables that were designed in a different context and, according to SFM, no longer reflect the operational reality of the network. The adjustments are based on real data collected over the last six months and have taken into account various factors, such as the bridge replacement works on Calle del Greco, near the Verge de Lluc station (Palma), increased train occupancy, changes in speed and timing, single-track sections, and stations experiencing growing passenger demand.

A TIB bus breakdown on the exit ramp of Palma's intermodal station caused delays of over an hour, which have now been resolved. According to union sources, the bus became stuck at the exit around 3:00 PM this Monday. This situation prevented other vehicles from continuing on their scheduled routes, resulting in delays of more than an hour.
