The Memoria de Mallorca association has sent a letter to the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, to alert you to the shortcomings in educational curricula regarding the Second Republic, the Civil War, the Franco dictatorship, and the Transition to Democracy. The letter seeks to urge you to promote a national education law that guarantees the mandatory inclusion of the historical periods between the proclamation of the Second Republic and the Transition to Democracy in the secondary and high school curricula of all autonomous communities.

The Memoria de Mallorca association will exhibit photographs of victims of enforced disappearances during the Spanish Civil War between Friday and Tuesday at Ca n'Oleo (Palma). The exhibition, entitled "Sense Olvido," has been scheduled to commemorate the International Day of Enforced Disappearances, which will take place next Saturday. It will be open to the public next Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
