The son of Inspector Faustino Nogales, who was provisionally imprisoned for his alleged involvement in a drug trafficking and money laundering organization in Mallorca, has been released on bail after being arrested last Thursday. Last August, investigators carried out 13 raids in Mallorca and arrested 15 more people connected to the scheme. Among those arrested was veteran inspector Faustino Nogales, former head of the National Police's Narcotics Unit in the Balearic Islands, detained by the Internal Affairs Unit for his alleged involvement in the criminal organization.
