The Sencelles Town Council has launched a new communication channel via WhatsApp for foreign residents of the municipality, with the aim of facilitating access to municipal information for the foreign community living in Sencelles. This new service will allow residents to receive local news, information about activities, and municipal notices directly on their mobile phones. Communications will be conducted in English and German, two of the most common languages ​​among foreign residents of the municipality. Until now, the service was offered in Catalan through a WhatsApp distribution list at the number +34 685 807 364.

The Sencelles Town Council has imposed a €10,400 fine on the organizers of an illegal Halloween party held on November 1, 2019, on a rural property within the municipality. The decision is final after the organizers' appeal was dismissed. According to the Town Council, the Local Police went to the location after receiving complaints from several residents and found more than 700 people and approximately 150 vehicles parked around the property. The Sencelles Town Council has launched a canine genetic census with the aim of improving coexistence in the municipality, promoting responsible pet ownership, and moving towards a cleaner town. This pioneering initiative in the municipality allows for the identification of all dogs through a simple saliva sample and is free for their owners. Registration is mandatory for all dogs living in Sencelles, regardless of whether their owners are registered residents. Registration is free until March 31, 2026. Following the first sessions held on January 16 and 17, the Town Council has scheduled further sessions on January 30 and 31, with appointments still available. One of the main objectives of the genetic census is to reinforce civic responsibility and respect for public spaces. The system will allow for the identification of animals and action to be taken against uncivil behavior, especially regarding the collection of dog feces. The city council wants to emphasize the importance of keeping the streets clean and avoiding practices such as leaving bags of dog feces on the sidewalks, a problem that causes discomfort among residents.

The Sencelles Town Council has conducted a survey of families at the local school, revealing that more than half of the children now walk or cycle to school. Despite this progress towards healthier and more sustainable mobility, many families still use cars for various reasons. Notably, 61% of those surveyed believe the journey is dangerous due to the presence of other cars. This is a curious statistic, as the data shows that 61% of respondents perceive the journey as dangerous, and this is the main reason for choosing a private vehicle. It seems to be a vicious cycle. They opt for the car because it is dangerous due to the high volume of traffic. Furthermore, 58% say they use the car because they have to go to work afterward; 33% because they have young children; and 31% because they live outside the town center.
