For decades, large hand-painted posters announcing the week's new releases adorned the facades of many theaters. Behind many of those monumental images was the same name: Rafael Ruiz. Now, his work is being brought back to mind with the exhibition Palma, city of cinemaswhich can be seen at the Misericordia cultural center. Among other historical documents, the exhibition includes original material from the poster artist and the documentary The ephemeral dreamDirected by Toni Bestard.

Hundreds of spectators came throughout the morning to listen to processional marches and repertoires linked to this musical tradition. The day began at 10:30 a.m. with a performance by the Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza y la Paz (Our Lady of Hope and Peace) Musical Group. Also performing were the Santa Mónica Band, the Esencia Musical Group, the Selva Municipal Band, the Ntre. Padre Jesús de la Humildad (Our Father Jesus of Humility) Musical Group, and the Ntre.
