A man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at Can Misses Hospital (Ibiza) threatened to cut her throat if she asked for help. According to the National Police, the alleged perpetrator entered the hospital center at dawn and entered the patient's room, whom he grabbed by the neck and threatened before sexually assaulting her.

The Section of Violence against Women of the Court of Instruction of Ibiza has ordered the provisional and no-bail imprisonment of the man arrested for having sexually assaulted a patient at Can Misses. According to the Superior Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands, the judge also issued a restraining order and prohibited him from communicating with the victim.

A man has been arrested by the National Police in Portocristo as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a disabled woman, to whom he allegedly supplied drugs and alcohol and tied her up with ropes.

A nursing assistant was sentenced on Tuesday to one year in prison and a four-year ban from practicing any healthcare profession for sexually assaulting a patient in a Palma hospital. The Second Section of the Provincial Court issued the sentence after the parties reached an agreement before the trial. The man admitted that on October 11, 2021, while the victim was hospitalized, lying in bed with her eyes closed and intoxicated, he sexually assaulted her on three or four occasions. The man will avoid prison if he does not commit any further offenses in the next four years and pays the €5,000 in civil damages within six months.

The First Section of the Provincial Court of Palma began the trial this Tuesday of a man accused of repeatedly raping his daughter for more than ten years. The prosecution is seeking a 36-year prison sentence for three counts of continuous sexual assault with violence and intimidation, charges which he denies through his defense, which maintains that the accused "is not as he is portrayed" and that he is a "good father," according to the man's current partner, who is not the mother of the imprisoned woman.

The National Police have arrested a doctor accused of sexually assaulting a patient last October at a private clinic in Palma while performing an abdominal ultrasound. The doctor allegedly touched the victim's genitals while performing a medical test, as confirmed to EFE by police sources. The patient went for an abdominal ultrasound, during which the doctor allegedly forced her to remain in her underwear and, under the pretext of performing the medical examination, touched her genitals repeatedly. Three days later, the patient returned to the doctor and requested a different examination. This time, a female doctor performed the test, and the results were completely different. The patient filed a complaint with the clinic and subsequently a report with the National Police, which led to the doctor's arrest. He was later released on bail.

A woman has reported that she was sexually assaulted at a hostel in Can Pastilla, Palma. She claims the perpetrator was another tourist on vacation on the island, but the alleged suspect has not yet been identified.
