More than 5,000 people from 45 municipalities of Mallorca arrived this Sunday morning at the sanctuary of Lluc after completing the 45th Lluc a Peu Walk from the Part Forana. The walk took place throughout the early morning without incidents and brought together participants for religious reasons, to maintain a tradition, or simply to share the route with family and friends.

The Manacor City Council will assume the organization of the municipality's participation in the Pujada a Lluc a peu de la Part Forana, which reaches its 45th edition. After the attempted implementation of the new organizational model promoted by the Consell de Mallorca, the Manacor City Council has had to take the lead to directly address the needs of the people of Manacor and ensure they can participate, for another year and free of charge, in this deeply rooted event in Mallorca.

The socialist group on the Consell de Mallorca has accused the island institution this Friday of having outsourced the organization of Lluc a Peu de la Part Forana, tasks that were traditionally carried out by the Antics Blavets and volunteers who participated in the ascent.

Nearly 5,000 people from up to 45 Mallorcan municipalities participated this Sunday in the traditional Part Forana Climb to Lluc on Foot, organized for the first time by the Consell de Mallorca. The thousands of participants reached the sanctuary after a journey that passed without incident, according to the island's authority.
