Palma Citizen Card holders will not be able to use it to travel on EMT buses from the end of the first quarter of 2026. This will be the main consequence of the introduction of the new Single Card, presented this Monday by the Regional Minister for Housing, Territory, and Mobility, José Luis Mateo, and the Deputy Mayor for Mobility, Antoni Deudero. The new card will allow travel on urban and intercity buses, trains, and the metro, just as the Intermodal Card, which already operates as a single ticket, does. Thus, nothing will change for Intermodal Card users. Both Mateo and Deudero emphasized during the presentation of the Single Card that this is a "historic day."
