The Llubí Town Council unanimously approved an emergency motion from the governing team expressing the municipality's support for the livestock farms directly affected by the permanent closure of the Agama dairy plant and, more generally, for the agricultural and livestock sector. The document explains that of the three dairy farms affected by the factory's closure, one is located in Llubí. This is the Son Bernat dairy farm, which the Llubí Town Council has chosen to support. The motion also urges the Balearic Islands Government "to guarantee the continuity of productive activity in the dairy sector and maintain the production and marketing of milk on the island of Mallorca as a fundamental product for food sovereignty."

The Llubí City Council has definitively approved the municipality's Animal Welfare ordinance, which aims to regulate the protection, ownership, and possession of animals. It also aims to "guarantee responsible animal ownership, reduce abandonment and loss, and also promote citizen participation and education in animal protection."
