The Petra City Council will impose a financial penalty on two councilors from the El Pi governing team who, on Monday, followed part of an extraordinary plenary session held remotely while driving their vehicles. This was confirmed by the mayor of Petra, Salvador Femenias, who announced that "the local police will open a report and they will receive the corresponding sanction because it was poorly conducted and they should receive the corresponding fine." Femenias warned that, in addition to the fine, "we will reprimand them and, of course, tell them not to do it again, but perhaps the best solution would be to stop holding extraordinary plenary sessions remotely and that's it."
