The initiative opts for a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional music, conceived especially for live performance and aimed at generating a collective experience around dance, the artist reported at the presentation.

These past few days we've seen the Mallorca Council travel to the World Travel Market in London with demons to try and showcase our popular culture to the British market. But is it really necessary to folklorize our culture to attract tourists? And is it necessary to continue investing in tourism promotion when the Council itself promised it wouldn't?

Jaume wanted to make a historical comic with touches of fantasy – a kind of Game of Thrones Set in the Balearic Islands, the project began as a comic strip, but Seri suggested a twist: transforming it into a role-playing game. The project took a complete turn, becoming a dark and apocalyptic universe steeped in Balearic folklore, where fantasy and storytelling intertwine. Together with Mer Prats and Daniela Kropeit, they have brought to life a decadent and grotesque world where sobrasada (a type of cured sausage) is forbidden and reality crumbles under the weight of its own myths. We spoke with them about the creative process, the folkloric background, and the future of the project.

Notably absent from this list is the Pitiusan song. For the moment, the island's institutions have not taken the step of requesting its protection. Ibizan sociolinguist Bernat Joan has the explanation: "Here, traditional dance is a BIC (Asset of Cultural Interest). It has always been given more visibility because it is a much more innocuous manifestation. The song, on the other hand, is related to the language and, therefore, is a symbol of identity for a Catalan-speaking community."

The new work focuses on a sound free of labels, where pop, electronica and folk coexist with "a poetic and emotional force that marks a step forward in her career." After the impact of Miramar, his debut album, with ParadiseColom opens the doors to his "most intimate universe" and reflects on "identity, the future, and doubt as a creative driving force." The concept of paradise takes on a double meaning: "as an ideal we pursue and as an emotional landscape we feel as home," explained sources from the record label.
