The President of the Balearic Government, Marga Prohens, highlighted the "stability" of her administration and stressed that early elections "cannot be called for political opportunism." They also assert that the situation in Extremadura, where President Maria Guardiola did bring forward the elections, cannot be compared to that of the Canary Islands, where Prohens approved the 2024 and 2025 budgets with the support of the far right.
