The Board of Directors of the Municipal Parking and Projects Company (SMAP) has given initial approval to the 2026 budget, which projects total revenues of €20,250,466.78, representing a 5.35% increase compared to the previous year. Among the most noteworthy projects are the construction of the surface parking lot in the Les Maravillas area of Playa de Palma, as well as the expansion of the parking lot in Eusebi Estada and the expansion of the regulated parking (ORA) and BiciPalma bike-sharing networks. The projected expenditure for next year amounts to €20,247,304.70, resulting in a surplus of €3,162.09. The budget includes an investment of €12,774,080.45, primarily allocated to the construction of new parking facilities and the expansion and improvement of existing ones. The drafting of expansion projects for the Vía Roma and Santa Pagesa parking facilities is also planned, with a total budget of €3,125,740.82.
