As approved by the service's Monitoring Committee, the new ORA will extend to the neighborhoods of Foners, Pere Garau, Plaza de Toros, Buenos Aires, Camp Redó, Fortí-Serralt, and Santa Catalina Nord. In addition, Son Oliva and Son Fortesa Sud, which were not initially included in the Mobility Plan, will also be incorporated. With this expansion, the number of regulated parking spaces will increase from approximately 12,000 to more than 25,900 throughout the city. At the same time, 166 new parking meters will be installed, bringing the total to 570. This approval is the preliminary step to begin the necessary procedures and construction work. Implementation will be carried out gradually and will include signage, painting of parking spaces, and installation of the equipment. There is still no specific date for the start of operations, but work will begin once the administrative procedures are completed.
