"When one island ran out of wheat one year, they would ask another, using the excuse that they were part of the same kingdom and had to help each other. And if the other island didn't want to share, it would reply that each island would go its own way. Years later, however, the tables were turned, and the islands exchanged arguments. Even so, for Carles Sala (Girona, 1974), receiving the Ciutat de Manacor de Teatre Jaume Vidal Alcover prize for <em>Ej</em>The play, now published in book format, has been a relatively new experience for her: it is her second play, and also her second for adults, as she had previously dedicated herself exclusively to children's literature. The presentation of<em>Ej</em>The presentation of the works by the three other winners of the literary categories of the Ciutat de Manacor awards will take place next Friday, November 14, at the Antoni M. Alcover Public Institution.</p>]]></description>
