The President of the Balearic Government, Marga Prohens, will appear before Parliament on Tuesday during the question period to answer questions about the housing situation in the Balearic Islands. Members of Parliament will raise questions about the Government's measures to alleviate the housing shortage and about the processing of urban development projects in transition zones. Lluís Apesteguia, spokesperson for MÉS per Mallorca, will ask Prohens for details on immediate actions to address the housing problem, while José María García, of Izquierda Unida, will seek clarification on the term "inquiocupa" (squatter). Manuela Cañadas, spokesperson for Vox, wants the President to explain whether urban development projects are being allowed to proceed in transition zones in municipalities governed by the PP (People's Party), as stipulated by the regulations jointly approved by the parties at the regional level. For his part, the Socialist spokesperson, Iago Negueruela, will demand explanations regarding the alleged "paralysis" of the Government in this area.
