A 67-year-old man died Thursday afternoon after his vehicle plunged into the sea at the port of Ciutadella, according to SAMU 061. The incident occurred at 9:17 p.m., when the coordination center received an alert that a vehicle had fallen into the water from the dock. Initially, the number of people inside the car was unknown. An Advanced Life Support Unit, a Basic Life Support Unit, and a doctor from the Ciutadella Primary Care Center (PAC) were dispatched. Firefighters rescued a single person in cardiac arrest, and after attempting resuscitation, he died.
