The mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez Llabrés, visited Plaza Gomila and Avenida Joan Miró this Monday, two of the areas already renovated under the Plan Renove del Terreno (Land Renewal Plan), where the Palma City Council (Cort) has invested €1.09 million to date. The city expects this figure to exceed €3 million by 2026, with new projects planned. Martínez emphasized that the Terreno area has been "neglected for many years, with a long-overdue renewal plan." In the case of Plaza Gomila and Carrer Germans Schembri, the works had a budget of €155,711 and included repaving, installing planters, and burying overhead utility lines.
