The Palma City Council's Governing Board has approved the preliminary design for the rehabilitation of the Casas del Retiro, a municipal building of significant heritage value that will be integrated into Palma's future Botanical Garden and will house the Bellver Forest Interpretation Center. Deputy City Council spokesperson Llorenç Bauzá explained that the project will have a budget of €2,017,000, financed by the Sustainable Tourism Tax (ITS), and an estimated maximum completion time of 13 months.
