Plataforma per la Llengua has submitted allegations to the draft bill for the regulation of the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana to demand that the regulations explicitly protect and promote the Catalan language.

The People's Party (PP) has finally secured the support of Vox, its coalition partner in the Consell de Mallorca (Island Council of Mallorca), to move forward with a proposal that must be approved by the Balearic Parliament to become law. The document, which ARA Baleares has obtained, includes the creation of an organization to manage the emblematic area, to be called the 'Tramuntana Mountain Range World Heritage Island Consortium'. This body will have its own staff and budget and will oversee aspects related to the management of cultural and territorial heritage, as well as economic initiatives linked to local products and the land. The 18 municipalities that make up the Tramuntana mountain range, the Departments of Economy and Agriculture, and other departments of the Consell will participate. The island institution argues that the area currently only has "scattered and generic regulations."
