The GEN-GOB has filed a complaint with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Ministry for Ecological Transition, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, and the State Air Safety Agency against AENA's plans to expand the capacity of Ibiza airport. The entity considers that the projects planned in the Airport Regulation Document (DORA III) violate the current Master Plan and prioritize economic benefit over the general interest and the protection of the territory.

The Court of Instruction 4 of Ibiza has agreed to open a trial against the president of the Consell d'Eivissa, Vicent Marí, accused of prevarication, influence peddling, coercion, and psychological harm to an auditor of the island institution, for the case La vida islados.

The Provincial Court of Palma has ordered the continuation of proceedings to trial against the president of the Island Council, Vicent Marí, for awarding a €250,000 contract during the pandemic to a company owned by a former councilor, in the case known as 'La Vida Islados' (Island Life), as well as for alleged coercion and obstruction of justice in uncovering the irregularities. The Socialist spokesperson in the Island Council, Elena López Bonet, appeared before the media to explain the content of the Court's rulings, which found "sufficient evidence for the case to continue to trial." Thus, the Provincial Court has decided to send Vicent Marí to trial.
