A 51-year-old man has been seriously injured after falling from a height of seven meters while practicing canyoning in the torrent de les Llemes, in the municipality of Sóller. The accident, as reported by SAMU, took place around 1 p.m. this Tuesday.

A 42-year-old man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident on the MA-6040 road, which connects Campos with Colonia de Sant Jordi. The accident occurred after a collision between the car he was driving and a tractor, causing the vehicle to overturn in the middle of the road. According to SAMU 061, emergency services received the call at 6:49 p.m. Due to the severity of the accident, a medical ambulance was dispatched, along with law enforcement officers, who secured the area and directed traffic. Upon arrival, paramedics treated the driver, who had significant injuries, and stabilized him at the scene. He was subsequently transported to Manacor Hospital with a polytrauma protocol activated, where he was admitted in serious condition. The causes of the accident are under investigation. The incident caused temporary traffic delays while emergency services responded.
